Highlights
CTD, Comparative Toxicogenomics Database, is a public resource that provides curated chemical-gene/protein interaction data and analysis tools for the research community. Data is derived from the scientific literature and manually curated by expert toxicologists. CTD provides a framework to understand the molecular mechanisms of toxicity, facilitating the prediction and prevention of adverse effects of environmental chemicals, drugs, and food components. Key features include chemical-gene/protein interaction data, pathway analysis, chemical structure search, gene ontology enrichment analysis, and text mining and visualization tools. CTD is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as part of the Environmental Health Sciences Core Centers Program.
