Highlights

Rubik's cube is a 3-D mechanical puzzle invented in 1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Originally called the Magic Cube, the puzzle was licensed by Seven Towns founder Tibor Laczi and Seven Towns founder Tom Kremer. The puzzle consists of a cube with six faces, each divided into nine squares, giving a total of 54 squares. The puzzle's objective is to restore the cube to its original state, in which each face is a solid color. Rubik's Cube has become one of the world's best-selling toys, with over 350 million units sold worldwide. It has also been used in educational settings to teach problem-solving and spatial reasoning skills.
